John R. Tuhela joined Weller Pools as Vice President in 1993, eventually rising to President in January 2013 and then assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer in May 2023. After an exceptional career of leadership and service, John retired in 2025 and continues to support Weller Pools as an active member of the Board of Directors. His impact on the company’s growth, diversification, and overall success has been profound.

With a background in engineering and construction, complemented by keen marketing and sales acumen, John has played a pivotal role in advancing Weller Pools’ presence in the commercial water park and resort sectors. His track record speaks volumes, having spearheaded and successfully delivered numerous large-scale and complex projects.

Now retired, John treasures time with his beloved family—his wife, daughter, and three energetic grandchildren. He stays active through golf and travel and continues to give back to the community through his involvement in service programs.
