Chris Smith joined Weller Pool Constructors, Inc. in November 2023 as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing all financial operations. As CFO, he is responsible for strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management. Before this role, he served as CFO at River City Construction, LLC in Central Illinois for five years. Chris began his career in public accounting with Clifton Larson Allen, rising to partner level during his 20-plus years there, primarily focusing on clients in the construction and manufacturing sectors.

A graduate of Bluffton University, Chris brings a strong educational foundation to his financial expertise. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
