BUTCH VON WELLER
CEO and Principal
H.J. “Butch” von Weller is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in finance and banking from the College of Business Administration. Upon graduating, he received a commission in the US Army and attended Infantry Officer’s Basic Training at Ft. Benning, Ga.
After completing his service, Butch went to work for a large regional general contractor in Central Florida as an Assistant Project Manager. During the construction boom in Central Florida that followed the opening of Walt Disney World, Butch oversaw the construction of commercial swimming pools for Tuttle/White Constructors.
In 1974, Butch founded Weller Pools and began applying the general construction techniques he had learned to the commercial swimming pool industry. These policies and procedures were the foundation on which the company was built.
From the beginning, Weller Pools has operated with the philosophy that pricing the work correctly the first time is the key to a successful project for the owner and the contractor. Weller Pools has used computer generated estimates for well over 20 years.
Butch is a very active member of the Central Florida community and of several charitable organizations. He has served as President of the Florida Citrus Sports Association, is a founder of the Downtown Athletic Club, has served on the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) national research board, and currently serves on the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business’ Board of Overseers.

TIM PIPKORN
CFO
As Chief Financial Officer, Timothy G. Pipkorn functions as a part of the company’s management team by providing internal financial and risk management expertise and human resource and administrative follow through. His extensive experience as CFO of a major general contractor in Central Florida for 10 years and as COO of a Tampa industrial real estate developer, during a major period of transition, along with his leadership skills and change agent abilities, bring a unique perspective to the company’s management team. Tim is a CPA and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a BBA in Accounting, after which he practiced as a CPA in Wisconsin for 12 years.

CHRIS RUDASILL
President and Principal
Chris Rudasill is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a BA degree. Chris has been with Weller Pools since 1982, when he came to the company as a Supervisor. Since then, Chris has served as Vice President of Operations, Executive Vice President, and is currently President of Weller Pools LLC.
Chris is a State of Florida Certified Commercial Pool/Spa Contractor and is the qualifier and license holder for Weller Pools LLC. In addition to his many internal accomplishments, Chris was twice appointed by the Governor of Florida to serve on the Governor’s Advisory Board for Public Swimming Pools and Bathing Facilities, serving as chairman of the board during each of those 4 year tenures. Chris is also a Past President of the United Pool and Spa Association, and is a member of the World Waterpark Association.

JACK OREN
Vice President and Principal
Jack Oren is a graduate of the University of Texas (BSCE) and came to Weller Pools in 1988 with engineering and general construction experience. Mr. Oren is a licensed engineer in the State of Texas and has been involved with many of the large out-of-state projects for Weller Pools located in Georgia and Alabama, along with many projects throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Oren is also in charge of all Myrtha package installations in Weller’s territory.

JOHN TUHELA
Vice President and Principal
John R. Tuhela joined Weller Pools as Vice President in 1993 and has been instrumental in the growth, diversification and success of Weller Pools ever since. John’s engineering and construction background coupled with his dynamic marketing and sales sense have proven a successful combination of talents, particularly in the commercial water park and resort industries. This proven achiever is responsible for the signing and successful completion of five of the largest and most demanding projects in the companies’ history: North Naples Regional Park in Naples, Florida; Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club located in Palm Beach, Aruba; The Registry Resort in Naples, Florida; The Wyndham Rose Hall Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica and The El Conquistador Resort & Spa - Coqui Water Park in Las Croabas, Puerto Rico.

Shane McLemore
Senior Project Manager
Shane McLemore relocated from California and joined Weller Pools in 2011 with a strong background in conceptual, pre-construction estimating and construction management of Competition Venues, Hotels and Resorts, Water Parks, Aquatic Centers, Podium Pools and Fountains throughout the United States. Shane’s strong technical background and leadership skills have proven to be a great asset for maintaining a positive relationship with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors and overseeing quality management program to achieve contract compliance while delivering quality projects.

BILL WEST
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Bill West has been involved in the commercial Pool industry since 1965 and was employed by Weller Pools in 1991 to help expand Weller Pools market share in the municipal, collegiate, and institutional pool markets. Bill and Weller Pools pioneered the Myrtha Pool Technology in the Southeast U.S. beginning in 1995 with the Water Polo pool constructed for the 96’ Olympics in Atlanta. Securing the contract for the competition, diving and water polo venues for the 96’ Olympics has been a highlight in Bill’s and Weller Pools’ successful and long tenure in the pool industry.

NILS ERICKSON
Director Sales/Marketing
Nils Erickson has been a lifelong resident of the metro Orlando area, in the swimming pool industry since 1981 (29 years), and a Florida certified commercial pool contractor for 27 years. Nils joined the Weller Pools team in 2008 as the new sales and marketing director following in the footsteps of 45 year Weller veteran and mentor, Bill West.
Using his vast experience and unique marketing abilities, Nils helps keep Weller Pools in the spotlight. His day-to-day functions consist of locating new projects, giving sales presentations, and performing ongoing marketing studies.

PERRY WALKER
Director of Design Services
Perry Walker joined Weller Pools in 1983 with a background in mechanical design and detailing. Perry is involved in the in-house pool and fountain designs at Weller Pools, and has worked on all of the types of projects Weller Pools constructs. He is involved in the projects from start to finish and coordinates with the different health departments and building departments on both design and permitting issues.

JASON FIMPLE
Estimator and Designer
Jason Fimple joined Weller Pools in 2005 with a strong background in estimating and construction design. Presently, he oversees all mechanical estimating and equipment pricing and is involved in the design of filtration and recirculation systems. Jason attended The Ohio State University where he worked towards earning a BSEE with a minor in Computer Information Systems (CIS). He continues to further his education and is currently pursuing a degree in Aquatic Engineering.

ROBERT BAGLEY
Site Manager
Robert has been with Weller Pools since August of 1981. He has spearheaded many of our high profile projects and was promoted to a superintendent position within two years after entering the pool industry. Robert has attended numerous construction seminars and training sessions such as Competent Person Training, OSHA Compliance, Workers Compensation Management Program, Wage and Hour Compliance, and Workplace Safety & Health Compliance. Constructing one of kind projects like Sea Worlds Aquatica Orlando FL over $10,000,000.00, North Naples Regional Park FL over $7,000,000.00 and Grand Lakes Resort Orlando FL over $6,000,000.00. Robert's specialty is the ability to handle the stress of large projects with multiple vessels under construction. Robert has extensive knowledge in the following venues: water parks, YMCA, competition and municipal.

DAN SIMMONS
Site Manager
Dan Simmons joined Weller Pools in 1985 with a strong knowledge of construction and form carpentry. Dan started with the company from the ground up at the young age of 22, started managing projects at the age of 23, and has worked his way up to being one of the premier aquatic builders in the country. Dan has extensive pool experience in the following venues: competition, water parks, resorts, and municipal. Additionally, he has worked on multiple international projects. Dan’s key roll day-to-day is overseeing multiple projects and personnel in the field. He also assists the project managers and sales administration with estimating labor and material costs drawing on his 25 years of experience in the pool industry.
